Zolpidem 10mg x 50 Tabs / Ambien (Lypin-10)
In adults, Zolpidem 10mg is used to treat a sleep disorder known as insomnia. It helps you fall asleep quickly if you have difficulties falling asleep, so you can have a better night’s sleep. Sedative-hypnotics, such as zolpidem, is a kind of medication. It has a relaxing effect by acting on your brain. This drug is normally prescribed for a brief length of time, usually 1 to 2 weeks.
What is the best way to take Zolpidem 10mg?
Take this medicine by mouth, generally once a night, on an empty stomach, as prescribed by your doctor. Take Zolpidem 10mg just before bedtime since it acts swiftly. It will not function as rapidly if you take it with or after a meal.
Take this medication only if you have time to get a full night’s sleep of at least 7 to 8 hours. If you have to get up earlier, you may have memory loss and have difficulty safely doing activities that need attentiveness, such as driving or operating machinery. (See also the section on Precautions.)
Dosage is determined by your gender, age, medical condition, any drugs you’re taking, and treatment response. Do not raise the dose, take it more frequently, or use it for longer than the manufacturer recommends. Take no more than 10 milligrams each day.
Because the medicine is eliminated from the body more slowly in women than in males, they have frequently prescribed a smaller dose. To reduce the chance of adverse effects, older persons are frequently prescribed a lower dosage.
It’s possible that you’ll feel dizzy. Tell your doctor or pharmacist right once if this effect persists or worsens.
It’s possible that this drug will make you tired during the day. If you experience sleepiness during the day, see your doctor. It’s possible that your dose will need to be modified.
Remember that your doctor provided this medicine because he or she believes the benefit to you outweighs the risk of adverse effects. The majority of people who use this medicine do not have any substantial adverse effects.
Memory loss, mental/mood/behavior problems (such as new/worsening sadness, aberrant thoughts, thoughts of suicide, hallucinations, disorientation, agitation, violent conduct, anxiety) should all be reported to your doctor immediately away.
This medicine seldom causes a severe allergic response. However, if you detect any symptoms of a major allergic response, such as a rash, itching/swelling (particularly of the face/tongue/throat), extreme dizziness, or problems breathing, seek medical treatment immediately once.
